The Knights continued to build and improve their game tonight against the talented the Rockets. Coming off a tough defensive battle against Mona Shores, Kenowa hills upped their game defensively, with senior keeper Alexis Lemire making 13 incredible saves that kept the Knights only down by 3 at half time. The Knights pushed harder second half, led from the back by Alli Weishuhn and sophomore Kaylee Lenartz, winning countless balls and holding the Rockets scoreless for almost 40 minutes. Junior Kaylyn Buskard continued to lead the attack, pushing the ball past midfield on many occasions. However, the Kenowa Hills struggled with many balls played and finished from the end line, and found it tough to get back into the game.
