The Lady Knights traveled to Mona Shores on Tuesday for a double dual with the host Sailors and Reeths Puffer.  Kenowa Hills fought hard but came up short with scores of 25-21, 22-25, 17-25, 18-25 against Mona Shores and 25-17, 21-25, 25-21, 14-25, 12-15 against Reeths Puffer.  Kenowa's tenacious defense and tough serving were key factors to their success throughout the evening.  Leading the way defensively were Macey Sevigny with 38 digs,  Autumn Cole with 36, and Anna Longcore with 28.  At the net, Gracyn DeMann and Shelby Porter each stuffed their opponents 5 times, and Anna Steenland added 3 blocks.  Anna Longcore led the attack at the service line with 5 aces;  Autumn and Shelby each tallied 4 aces for Kenowa Hills.  The lone Knight who served 100% for the night was Kaylee Webber.  Offensively, Autumn dished out 62 assists.  Leading hitters were Gracyn with 25 kills, Shelby had 15, and Anna Longcore added 14 kills for the night.  The Lady Knights close out OK Black action on Saturday with a tri at home against Fruitport and Muskegon.
