CEDAR SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Kenowa Hills volleyball team traveled to Cedar Springs for the second round of the OK Gold tournament where they prevailed over the Red Hawks 3-1. Leading servers were Lucy Jennette with 2 aces, followed by Rylee Cook, Olivia Granger, and McKenna Buehler with an ace each. 100% serving for the Lady Knights came from Rylee, Olivia, and Austin Van Putten. Austin led in assists with 23, and Abby Chapman added 14. Leading hitters were Laura Perrin with 13 kills, followed by Shelby Porter and Anna Longcore with 12 and 9, respectively. In the back court, Abby led with 10 digs and Austin added 9 for the Knights. Putting up a wall at the net, Ashley Crinion stuffed the Red Hawks for 9 blocks followed by Laura with 7, Shelby with 6, and Anna with 5 blocks. The Lady Knights travel to West Catholic tomorrow for a non-league match at 6:00. Go Knights!
