Kenowa Hills Beat Wayland in a Double Header Tuesday to improve to 20-6 on the season and 13-4 in conference play. 

Kenowa Hills cruised to an easy victory over Wayland Union 13-3 in game oneTuesday. The Knights took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Nick Thayer doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.  Kenowa Hills  notched another four runs in the fifth inning. 

Justin Stulpe got the start for Kenowa Hills. The pitcher allowed eight hits and three runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one.  Koopman led things off on the pitcher's mound for Wayland Union . The bulldog surrendered eight runs on 11 hits over three and a third innings, striking out two and walking zero. Mutchlin threw two innings in relief.

Kenowa Hills racked up 12 hits. Evan BreukerNolan Thayer, and Joey Hysell all managed multiple hits for Kenowa HillsThayer and Breuker each collected three hits to lead Kenowa HillsKenowa Hills didn't commit a single error in the field. Thayer had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.

Kenowa Hills stole the lead late in the game in an 8-7 victory over Wayland Union in the second game on Tuersday. The game was tied at seven with Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Trevin Laming hit a solo ionside the park homer.

Despite falling down by six runs in the fifth inning, Wayland Union tried to fight back. Wayland Union scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Saligne, a double by Mutchlin, a double by #14, a single by Dziawzyc, and a single by Calkins. Wayland Union fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Wayland Union .

Kenowa Hills tallied five runs in the fourth inning. Trey Perry and Laming all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  Evan Breuker led things off on the hill for Kenowa HillsBreuker lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out eight.  Calkins started the game for Wayland Union . undefined lasted five innings, allowing 11 hits and eight runs while striking out five and walking one. Cammerle threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Kenowa Hills totaled 11 hits. LamingJoey Hysell, and Perry all collected multiple hits for Kenowa HillsHysell and Laming each collected three hits to lead the Knights.
