Kenowa Hills Boys Varsity Soccer battled Jenison this past Saturday morning in an intense game of soccer. One of the best games played by the Knights in their past years in which they controlled the ball most of the game. Sadly, they weren't able to come out with a win leaving the field with the score of 2-4 against the Wildcats. Both teams saw an early goal with Jenison scoring in the first 30 seconds and Kenowa answering back with Elvin Mendez sending a nice through ball to Caleb Hodgkinson who easily put the ball in the back of the net. The next goal for the knights came with 2 minutes left in the first half as the Wildcat goalie mishandled the ball and Conner Glaz was able steal it away and tap it in behind him. The rest of the game was riddled with closely missed shots that would have turned the tables on the final score. The Knights look towards their next game as they take on Greenville on Monday 9/10.
