Last night, Kenowa faced off against the previous year's conference champions. Earlier in the season when they played, the Knights fell to Fruitport with a score of 2-5. It was a cold Fall evening with the game being the last one in the regular season, the last conference game for the seniors at Kenowa Hills. The first half went by with both teams battling to stay alive, neither team wanting to concede the first goal. The second half began with Fruitport and Kenowa both firing on all engines. Ten minutes in the the Knights were able to go up 1-0 off a set-piece. Caleb Hodgkinson sent a ball across the box to find Hugo Cano who easily headed the ball into the back of the net. Sadly, the Knights weren't able to hold their focus conceding a goal to Fruitport not a minute later off a long ball. The game went on and ended in a 1-1 tie.
