The final game for the Knights ended in a 2-1 loss in double overtime against the Coopersville Broncos. Kenowa was the first to kick off the game with a goal being scored by Elvin Mendez early on in the first half. Kenowa held the Broncos until late in the second half when Coopersville was able to break the defensive line, scoring a goal and tying the game. One scoreless overtime led into a second when Kenowa conceded a final goal with 2 minutes left of the second overtime. The Knights lost in the District Semi-Finals ending their season with a record of 7-11-2. The Knights haven't seen this much progress in Kenowa Soccer since 2014 when Kenowa lost in the District finals in 2014.
