Kenowa Hills matched up against GR Union in a tight game. The Kenowa Hills Knights struggled to find a rhythm first half and struggled to get the ball out of their own end against the Red Hawks. The Knights found themselves down a goal after giving up a foul shot from the 25 yards on a direct kick. Less than 10 minutes later, Junior Captain Kaylyn Holtrop scored unassisted from 25 yards out on a hard shot, tying the game. Shortly after, junior Taylor Buskard drove the ball to the end line and assisted senior Marissa Menzel on an amazing one touch shot from 16 yards out that sealed the game. The Knights picked up the tempo second half and controlled the game strong with keeping the majority of possession time.
