The Knights celebrated youth night at home as they took on the Grand Rapids Union Redhawks in front of 40 players of their new soccer club, Knights FC. The Redhawks took an early lead and held that as the Knights struggled to find possession and opportunities. The Knights fought back second half, but gave up another goal half way through. Late in the game the Knights found multiple scoring opportunities, with junior Taylor Buskard finishing a rebound with 4 minutes to go. Despite outshooting GR Union 25-6, the Knights fell 1-2 against the Redhawks.
