The Knights were determined to find victory as they regrouped and traveled to Muskegon. Despite several injuries, the Knights found a way to control the game, digging deep into their bench for much of the game with outstanding play. 18 minutes in, the talented striker Taylor Buskard served a perfect ball to space where sophomore Blessing Ouding finished it in the back of the net. The Knights started the second half with a 30 yard drive, unassisted goal, by Taylor Buskard and continued to find multiple scoring opportunities through dominant possession and movement off the ball. Taylor then capped the game 6 minutes later with a Penalty Kick. Senior Keeper Alexis Lemire sealed a shutout with 9 saves, accompanied by tremendous defending by senior captain's Sammie Elderkin and Alli Weishuhn.
