The Knights overcame the cold winds and hard rain as they battled against the Byron Center Bulldogs, who've only been beaten 3 times this season.  The Knights defense was relentless, calculated and organized as they thwarted off over 25 scoring opportunities throughout the game.  They held a tie game until 23 minutes in the bulldogs found the back of the net.  Led by defensive backs Alli Weishuhn and Sammie Elderkin, they strengthened their defense after senior senior Alexis Lemire scored up 10 saves in the first half to only 5 in the second half due to a strong back line. The Knights line held the Bulldogs off for 28 minutes the second half without a score due to exceptional play by defensive back Megan Mentalewicz and Charlize Vandenberg.  Even though it was a great defensive game, the Knights were unable to break free of the amazing passing and finishing of the Bulldogs.
