Defending their home field tonight against a team that beat them 6-0 a few weeks ago, the Knights put together a beautiful full 80 minutes against the Wildcats. With few subs and down 5 starters, junior Kaylyn Holtrop assisted junior Taylor Buskard to finish, putting the Knights on the board 17' in. 4 minutes later, sophomore standout Blessing Ouding served a fast ball across the 18 to sophomore Yanely Lopez, who finished on a one touch shot. 3 minutes into the second half, Taylor Buskard beat a defender and the goalie to finish on an open net.
Although the Knights were outshot 18-7, the strong defensive line, disciplined mids, and 14 key saves by Keeper Alexis Lemire, canceling quality scoring opportunities, earning a great win!
