Kenowa Hills Varsity Baseball (5-3) beat Lowell in a double header on Wednesday. In the first game the Knights got strong pitching performances from Gabe Schoenborn (1-0) who pitched 5 innings and only gave up 1 unearned run, striking out 6 to pick up the win. Gibson Sposaro (0-0-1)picked up the save (1) pitching 2 innings of relief striking out 2. The Knights got RBI hits from Justin Kozlowski and Spencer VanDyke to go on to a 4-1 victory.
Game 2 saw another good pitching performance from Evan Breuker (1-1) and Justin Kozlowski (0-1-1) who combined for a 3-0, 1 hit shutout victory. The duo combined for 9 K's over 6 innings of work. Kozlowski again had the hot stick and compiled 3 hits while scoring 2 runs for the Knights. Sposaro and Brock Borkowski each had RBIs.
