Teams from Kent (Kenowa Hills), Ottawa (Coopersville), Newaygo (Newaygo) and Allegan (Hopkins) Counties came to Kenowa Hills Saturday for the KONA Baseball Classic.  The first game saw Kenowa Hills and Hopkins winning to make it to the finals of the 2nd annual tournament.  Strong pitching performances from Evan Brueker and Tristan Hysell held Coopersville to just 1 unearned run on 5 hits.  The Knights matched  a 5th inning Coopersville score highlighted by am RBI triple by Justin Kozlowski, then erupted for 4 more runs in the 6th highlighted by hits from Gibson Sposaro, Evan Brueker, Nolan Collins and Brock Borkowski.

In the final, Hopkins beat the Knights by a score of 4-1 as Kenowa Hills couldn't get the timely hits to get the win going 1 for 7 at the plate with runners in scoring position.  Borkowski and Jack Kubiak lead the Knights with 2 hits each and Gibson Sposaro collected the loan RBI.  The Knights push their record to 9-6 on the season.
