In the opener Kenowa Hills defeated Fruitport 13-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.  Evan Breuker started the offense for the Knights when he hit a base hit that scored one run. The Knights then  scored six runs in the seventh inning. Gabe Schoenborn, Justin Kozlowski, Gibson Sposaro, and Breuker each had RBIs in the frame.  Breuker earned the win for Kenowa Hills. He allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Sposaro threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Kenowa Hills racked up 12 hits. Sposaro, Breuker, and Dylan Nguyen each managed multiple hits, highlighted by Breuker and Sposaro each collecting 3.  

Kenowa Hills fired up the offense in the first inning of the nightcap, when Jack Kubiak singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.  The Knights then notched four runs in the third inning.  Contributing to the big inning included Kubiak, Tristan Hysell, and Gabe Schoenborn, all driving in runs in the frame.  Justin Kozlowski led the Knights to victory on the hill. He lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out eight. Gibson Sposaro threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Sposaro recorded the last out to earn the save for Kenowa Hills.??????  The Knights tallied 12 hits in the game. Brock Borkowski, Sposaro, Hysell, and Evan Breuker all collected multiple hits.
