Trevin Laming Drives In Four As Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity Wins Over Thornapple Kellogg

The Kenowa Hills Knights  defeated Thornapple Kellogg 20-9 on Thursday thanks in part to Trevin Laming, who drove in four runners. Laming drove in runs on a triple in the second and a double in the third. The Knights earned the victory despite allowing Thornapple Kellogg to score seven runs in the third inning. Dahley, Vandeheide, Pratt, Dipert, and Garbrecht all drove in runs in the frame.

Kenowa Hills fired up the offense in the first inning, when Joey Hysell drew a walk, scoring one run.The Knights then notched ten runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower was led by Justin Stulpe, Gibson Ouellette, Jaiden Acker, Nick Thayer, Laming, and Stulpe, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Hysell was on the hill for Kenowa Hills. The righthander went two innings, allowing one run on one hit.  Burbridge started the game for Thornapple Kellogg. The pitcher allowed five hits and nine runs over one inning. Pratt threw three innings in relief.

Kenowa Hills Knights collected 11 hits on the day. Stulpe, Dylan Nguyen, and Laming all managed multiple hits for the Knights. Stulpe led Kenowa Hills with three hits in four at bats.
