Kenowa Hills Knights Claim Victory Over Holland

Kenowa Hills wins the opening contest of the Kenowa Hills Invitational against Holland, 7-2.  Holland got on the board in the first inning when Neil singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

But Kenowa Hills pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Trevin Laming singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, Justin Stulpe singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Nolan Thayer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Gerrit Nickel drew a walk, scoring one run.

Stulpe led things off on the mound for the Knights. The righthander allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Neil started the game for Holland. The hurler surrendered two runs on two hits over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Matt and Alex entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and two innings respectively.

Kenowa Hills tallied nine hits in the game. Laming and Gibson Ouellette all managed multiple hits for Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity. Ouellette and Laming all had two hits to lead the Knights

Kenowa Hills Beats Greenville to take the Kenowa Hills Invitational.

Kenowa Hills  opened up scoring in the first inning, when Luke Hendricks singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.  The Knights tallied four runs in the sixth inning as the big inning was driven by an error on a ball put in play by Joey Hysell and Joey Klap and a single by Nick Thayer.

Gibson Ouellette led things off on the pitcher's mound for Kenowa Hills. Ouellette surrendered zero runs on two hits over three innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Koepke toed the rubber for Greenville. The pitcher went one inning, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one. 

Kenowa Hills collected 12 hits in the nightcap. Thayer, Dylan Nguyen, and Trevin Laming each racked up multiple hits for Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity. Thayer went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Knights in hits. Kenowa Hills didn't commit a single error in the field.
