KH Baseball Splits a DH with FHN

In the first game, Kenowa Hills loses 1-6 To Forest Hills Northern

Kenowa Hills  watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 6-1 loss to Forest Hills Northern on Friday. Forest Hills Northern took the lead on a double in the first inning. Forest Hills Northern got things moving in the first inning, when Lu doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Vistakine toed the rubber for Forest Hills Northern. The fireballer surrendered one run on one hit over five innings. Joey Hysell was on the hill for Kenowa Hills. The righty allowed three hits and four runs over two innings, striking out one. Trey Perry did a nice job and threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kenowa Hills hit one home run on the day. Dylan Nguyen had a homer in the fourth inning.  Nguyen led the Knights with one hit in two at bats.  Forest Hills Northern had eight hits in the game. Conway and Lu all had multiple hits for Forest Hills Northern.

 

Kenowa Hills Grabs Lead In Fourth Inning For Victory Over Forest Hills Northern In a game shortened by darkness.

Kenowa Hills snatched the lead late in the game in a 6-5 victory over Forest Hills Northern on Friday. The game was tied at four with Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity batting in the top of the fourth when Joey Hysell singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.  Forest Hills Northern took an early lead in the first inning. Seeber drew a walk, scoring one run.  After Kenowa Hills scored two runs in the top of the second, Forest Hills Northern answered with two of their own. The Knights scored when an error scored two runs for Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity. Forest Hills Northern then answered when Sturtz hit a solo homer.

Evan Breuker led things off on the mound for Kenowa Hills. The lefthander allowed one hit and two runs over one inning, striking out two.  Schroeder started the game for Forest Hills Northern. undefined surrendered three runs on four hits over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Hanley and Idziak entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Hysell led Kenowa Hills with two hits in three at bats and St Antoine went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Forest Hills Northern in hits.
