Kenowa Hills Knights Claims Victory Over Byron Center, 7-1
Kenowa Hills Knights cruised to an easy victory over Byron Center 7-1 on Friday The Knights tallied three runs in the fifth inning. Evan Breuker had an RBI triple in the inning to lead the run scoring. Justin Stulpe led things off on the hill for Kenowa Hills. The righthander surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out two and walking one.
Steensma led things off on the pitcher's mound for Byron Center. The hurler surrendered one run on two hits over three innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Kenowa Hills tallied eight hits on the day. Breuker and Dylan Nguyen each had multiple hits for the Knights. Breuker went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Kenowa Hills Knights Varsity in hits. Kenowa Hills was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Nick Thayer made the most plays with six.
The Knights improve to 11-3 on the season.
