JENISON HIGH SCHOOL: 50
The boys varsity basketball team came out strong (and just in time) in the second half to come from behind to beat Jenison 63-50. The Knights overcame a slow first half that saw them fall behind by 11, 35-24. Their defense picked up the intensity to hold them to 15 second half points, while scoring 39, to pull out the big conference victory. Myles Kerner and Ryan Bart each had 13 points, while Cam McCarthy and Josh Bergsma both added 10. The Knights travel to Mona Shores on Tuesday for another Tuesday road conference game.
