After being postponed twice, the Knights finally faced Mona Shores Wednesday night against the former Kenowa Hills coach and alum, David Chana. The Knights started out playing well, leading by 8 points early and holding on to a 15-11 first quarter lead. The game was tied at halftime, and the Knights found themselves trailing by 8 after three quarters and down double digits in the 4th. As the Knights have done before, they battled back to tie the game at 53 and push it into overtime. The Sailors though outscored the Knights 16-5 in the overtime period to prevail, 69-58. Junior Ryan Bart led the Knights with 21 points, followed by seniors Cam McCarthy with 12 and Josh Bergsma with 9. The loss drops their season record to 10-6, with a rematch with the Sailors coming Saturday night.
