In their district match up with Grand Haven, the varsity volleyball team fought a noble battle before losing 0-3 to the Buccaneers. Scores were 10-25, 21-25, and 19-25. Pacing the Lady Knights at the service line were MaKenna Joustra, who scored with an ace, and Macey Sevigny, Kyla Reichert, Mishelle Bergsma, and Anna Longcore with 100% serving. Megan VanHorn let hitters with 7 kills, followed by Hali Blik with 6. MaKenna led in assists with 18 for Kenowa Hills. Defensively, Laura Perrin stuffed Grand Haven 5 times and Megan added 3 blocks for the Lady Knights. Macey led the backcourt with 12 digs, and Kyla and Autumn Cole each added 6. The Lady Knights finished the season with a respectable 20-20-2 record. Nice job, ladies!
