The Lady Knights traveled to West Catholic on Thursday for a tri with Covenant Christian and the host Falcons.  In their first match against Covenant Christian, they ended up shy of the victory with 23-25, 24-26 scores.  At the serving line, Abby Chapman and Shelby Porter each recorded 2 aces to lead the way.  Serving 100% were Kaylee Webber, Autumn Cole, and Gracyn DeMann.  Leading the offensive attack were Gracyn with 8 kills followed by Macey Sevigny and Anna Longcore with 3 apiece.  Autumn collected 13 assists while setting up her hitters.  In the backcourt, Anna led the defensive effort with 8 digs while Macey and Autumn each added 5.  At the net, Gracyn stuffed the ball twice and Shelby also added a block.

In their match against West Catholic, Kenowa Hills lost 0-2 despite some terriffic rallies.  Leading the way at the serving line were Abby and Macey with an ace each.  Excellent serving also came from Gracyn, Anna, Autumn, and Abby who all served 100%.  Offensively, Shelby led attackers with 4 kills followed by Gracyn with 3.  Autumn, Anna, and Anna Steenland also added 2 kills for the Lady Knights.  Autumn set up the hitters to tally 10 assists.  Defensively, Gracyn and Shelby collected a block each.  Leading diggers were Anna with 8 and Rylee Cook with 6.  The Lady Knights travel to East Grand Rapids for a tournament on Saturday.  Go Knights!
