FOREST HILLS EASTERN HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Kenowa Hills traveled to Forest Hills Eastern on Tuesday for an exciting OK Gold volleyball match against the Hawks. Despite the 0-3 loss with scores of 11-25, 23-25, 19-25, the Lady Knights played great defense and made some terrific plays throughout the match. At the serving line, Abby Chapman scored with 2 aces and Rylee Cook added one for the visitors. 100% servers included Austin VanPutten, Anna Longcore, Laura Perrin, and Rylee. The offense was led by Austin with 9 assists, and Anna led attackers with 8 kills. On the defensive side Austin led the back row with 9 digs, followed by Rylee with 8. At the net, Shelby Porter stuffed the Hawks 4 times and Laura added 3 blocks for Kenowa Hills. The Lady Knights host Catholic Central next Tuesday for more OK Gold play. Go Knights!
