GRAND RAPIDS CATHOLIC CENTRAL: 3
The Kenowa Hills varsity volleyball team hosted Grand Rapids Catholic Central in OK Gold league play on Tuesday, falling to the Cougars 0-3 with scores of 14-25, 11-25, 17-25. Leaders at the service line for the Lady Knights included Olivia Granger and Austin Van Putten with an ace each, and 100% serving from Abby Chapman, Anna Longcore, Laura Perrin, and Austin. Austin also led the offense with 17 assists, and Laura put the ball down for 6 kills followed closely by Shelby Porter with 5. Defensively, Shelby collected 5 blocks for the match and Anna added 4. In the back court, Rylee Cook led with 11 receptions and 10 digs followed by Anna with 9 receptions and 9 digs. The Lady Knights will host Wayland on Thursday. Go Knights!
