Thursday night at Kenowa Hills was the setting for a thrilling volleyball match between the host Knights and the visiting Wildcats from Wayland. The Lady Knights jumped out with a 25-19 win in the first set before dropping the next three with scores of 10-25, 27-29, 24-26. Leading the home team at the serving line were Lily McCarthy with 2 aces and Austin Van Putten and Rylee Cook with 1 each. 100% servers included Lucy Jennette, Anna Longcore, and Rylee. Setting up the offense was Austin with 38 assists. Big hitters for the Knights were Laura Perrin with 19 kills followed by Anna with 12. Defensively, Rylee grabbed 19 digs and Anna added 13. At the net, Shelby Porter stuffed the Wildcats for 10 blocks followed by Anna with 6. The Lady Knights will host a quad on Saturday to wrap up their busy week. Go Knights!
