Kenowa Hills has 6 girls on the high school wrestling team and that makes them one of the Top 5 teams when it comes to the numbers!
“There is strength in numbers,” says Head Coach Tom Bennett. The MHSAA sponsored the first ever Girls High School State Championships last year and this season the Kenowa Hills Wrestlers will compete for a State Championship on February 2, 2020 at Adrian College.
If any others want to join the team it’s not too late! Stop by the wrestling room if you are interested and want additional information! Girls HS Wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the country going from 800 girls wrestling in 1994 to over 21,000 in 2018 and over 70 colleges with Women’s Programs!
Join the following six sophomores Alexis Gerth, Aisia Jennings, Natalie McCune, Ashlynn Andree, Kaia Schenk and Jasmin Doubblestien as Varsity Wrestlers, earn a chance to compete for an All-State or State Championship!
