This Sunday, Kayden Smith took a trip to Ann Arbor to watch the CMU Chippewa’s take on the Wolverines in an in-state college wrestling battle! Little did he know he was going to get the opportunity to rub elbows with Kenowa Head Coach’s nephew! Ben Bennett (Coach Tom’s Nephew) was 213-3 in his HS Career winning 3 State Championships and is the First 4x NCAA All-American in CMU History! Ben is currently in his 7th Season as the Assistant Coach at CMU!
Kayden enters his high school wrestling career with a great deal of success coming during his time in the Knights Youth Club and MS Wrestling Team! Coach Bennett has high hopes for Kayden and expects he will make a positive impact on the mats this season in the lighter weight classes of 119/125!
