The Kenowa Hills Wrestling Team Tri-Captains go undefeated this past Saturday at the Portage Central Super Duals.  Team Captains Francisco Landero, Nate Moe and Cadin Rose each went 4-0 and combine for 65 total  team points!  The team’s highlights on the day came from a 54-30 win over Otsego and close battles with Portage Northern, Portage Central and Sparta by scoring a total of 146 team points! Big wins over State D2 Ranked Sparta came from Shofi Alom, Francisco Landero, Nate Moe and Cadin Rose! Other contributions on the day came from Van Bruin, Aisia Jennings, Aiden Kilbourn, Natalie McCune, Kayden Smith, Breyden Link, Ashlynn Andree, Dom Cordes, Jasmin Doubblestien, Trey Monroe, Alexis Gerth, Tanner Pickel and Shawn Hall! 

“This team is very close and supportive of one another, they truly care about helping each other reach their individual goals!  Great things can happen when the focus isn’t on any one person, and that’s exactly what’s happening here at Kenowa Hills!  Everyone is getting better faster and loving the process,” says Head Coach Tom Bennett. 

The Varsity travels to Wyoming next Saturday while the JV heads to East Kentwood.
